4th of July fun

Jonathan and I had a fun and laid back 4th of July. With both our families out of town we celebrated it with just the 2 of us. We had a great day. We went over to Jonthan's parent's house and spent the day and evening there. They were so gracious to let us borrow their house and pool while they were out of town. We swam, made dinner, watched a movie, shot our own fireworks (we only did a few...), and watched a great fireworks show!

It was my first time shooting my own fireworks. It was a fun experience!

We had sparklers...Jonathan said I looked scared of them...

We drove the golf cart up to the clubhouse and watched the fireworks. They were great!

South Texas

Here are some pics from beautiful South Texas. Not what I was expecting South Texas to look like and it was much cooler for being mid-April. We really enjoyed our time there.

Yard of the Month!

We got it! Yard of the Month! Some time back in April, we came back home after church and found this sign in the front yard!
We were so excited about this little honor (I think me more than Jonathan...probably because growing up this was always a goal of my father's!) We also got a $25 gift card to Lowe's which was nice. I mean, we don't have too much competition in our neighborhood...but we will take it!!

Up and Running Again!

Well we are up and running again with our new computer after it's hard drive problems. I finally have found time to upload all our pics again onto our computer and I have a lot to post about. Here are some pics from Jan, at my mom and my joint birthday celebration at III Forks.
